As we enter peak energy usage season and storm season, our team is taking steps to prepare. Ongoing maintenance of our system sometimes means that temporary, limited outages may occur. We make every effort to notify affected customers in advance and to minimize the length of a planned outage.
Unplanned outages do occur occasionally and are commonly caused by wildlife or vegetation contacting powerlines, as was the case in three separate instances over the last 30 days. Each of these outages were unrelated to one another or any other external issue.
We want to assure you we are taking measures to minimize the potential for such outages in the future.
